HarborPath Sourcing Scope Review for Residential Quotations

HarborPath Sourcing reads the residential brief before factories are asked to price it. The work is to make use, loads, jurisdiction, quantity, destination and exclusions visible. Independent sourcing service. Not fleetwood homes, and the desk does not claim authorized dealer status.

Shell package against a completed building scope

A low unit figure and a delivered total are not the same purchase. Mark every line included, excluded, optional or still open. The buyer and the licensed designer keep the code decision.

Standards such as IRC, IBC, HUD Code, ASCE 7 and AWS D1.1 are documents to request for the quoted system. Listing them here does not mean this desk or an unnamed factory holds the approval.

What each supplier quotation should answer

  • System identityManufacturer name, plant, and whether the offer is panelized construction or a volumetric module.
  • Load basisDesign wind speed, wind exposure category, ground snow load and seismic design category used in the model.
  • Scope mapTransport, foundation, installation, stairs, HVAC and permits each marked in or out.
  • Commercial linesCurrency, per-unit or whole-order basis, freight, tax and the timing the factory can actually discuss.

Open the inquiry catalog when the form of house is still unsettled, then return here to align the quotations.

Questions that change the comparison

Which costs must stay on separate lines?

Freight to the destination ZIP, escorts for a wide load, the crane, sales tax, foundation work and utility connections. A factory ex-works number cannot be set beside a figure that includes those items.

What if the floor plan is still moving?

Freeze the footprint, eave or module height, and wet-wall locations before you ask for a number. A later bedroom move is a revision, not a change to the opening sheet.

Who checks the code path?

The authority having jurisdiction and the project designer. HarborPath Sourcing can list the missing load or the missing code edition. It does not issue a permit or a label.

Can two brands be called equivalent?

Not from a shared room count. Equivalence needs the same loads, the same insulation, the same included trades and a written deviation list the buyer accepts.

Send the scope with the exclusions still visible

The form collects the residential requirement. Optional budget and supplier preference are buyer notes, not a rating and not a price already in hand.
